		<description>Thank you for sharing this Michael, I had not seen this before. Gell-Mann is a bit of a hero for me ever since I first read about him from Feynman as a student.

I particularly liked the Lee Smolin comment (p.12):

Treating cities in either a reductionist or a complex way should not be a distinct choice (although many act as if it is). Better to appreciate each are valid ways of understanding so long as reference is paid to the other when doing so.
